General Terms & Conditions
● Any registered medical practitioner or medical establishment in India can take the membership of DOCTRINE, after remitting the requisite membership fee.
● DOCTRINE cover will start from the day of remittance of the membership fee along with the completion of documentation of membership agreement.
● Interpretation of the case means, the cause of action of any case initiated, against the prescription or the treatment rolled out / started from the date of becoming the member till the expiry of the membership.
● Even after the expiry of the membership, if any case is initiated against our ex-member, for which the treatment was initiated during the period of our membership, DOCTRINE shall handle such cases without any additional fee/charges.
● Pre-membership cases shall attract the applicable pre-membership legal fee which shall be decided by the DOCTRINE legal cell.
● DOCTRINE membership will cover medical practices/services all over India. Members are at liberty to practice anywhere in India.
● DOCTRINE shall send the membership agreement document along with the enrolment letter, DOCTRINE’s payment receipt (if already not issued), indemnity policy document, membership card & medical consent form, directly to the member's address, after enrolment & renewal of membership.
● DOCTRINE will process the documentation of the claims, according to the original insurance contact, renewable every year. Delay in renewing the policy due to the fault of the member shall automatically cease the monetary liability.
● Compulsory excess for Medical Establishment coverage applicable. The insured medical Establishment shall bear for each and every claim a compulsory excess of 0.25 percent of the indemnity limit shown in the schedule subject to a minimum of Rs.1000/- and a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000/-, as per the insurance contract.
● DOCTRINE Members are required to contact on any of our helpline mobile line nos. in case of any legal problem.
● DOCTRINE Members are requested to quote the membership number mentioned in the membership card for all enquiry of correspondence.
● All payment should be made in A/c payee cheque/D.D favouring ‘DOCWIN MEDICAL DEFENCE CONSULTANT PVT. LTD.”. Cash payment is strictly banned. Paying the membership or premium in cash is strictly on the responsibility and risk of the member and Doctrine is not responsible for the misappropriation or manipulation made by any employee.
● Discontinuation of the membership at any stage is not permissible and no refund of membership fee will be made under any circumstances.
● That the membership is valid for the opted period, only after the receipt of full membership fee.
